Burglary and van theft could be linked
The burglary took place at a house in Chapel Street.
The owners of the property returned to their home at around 4pm to find that the house had been burgled.
An untidy search had been made of the house and several items of jewellery had been taken.

Hide AdIn another incident in Wellesbourne on Wednesday afternoon, which officers are looking at to see if there are links with the burglary, a delivery driver was injured as he attempted to stop a thief from stealing his van.
This incident took place in Dovehouse Drive shortly before 2pm as the driver made a delivery to a house.
As he returned to his van an unknown white man, wearing a brown jacket and a bobble hat, jumped into the van and started to drive away. in tThe van driver injured his arm when he was struck by the van as he tried to prevent it from being driven away.
He suffered an injury to his elbow which required hospital treatment.

Hide AdThe white Vauxhall Movano panel van, which had Home Delivery written in green on the side, was found abandoned this morning (Thursday) in fields near to Hampton Lucy.
An attempt had been made to set the van on fire.
Police would like to hear from anyone who may have seen the van being stolen, or left on land near to Daisy Hill Farm in Hampton Lucy.
They are also asking anyone who has any information or who saw anything suspicious in Chapel Street between 1pm and 4pm to contact the Local Investigation Unit at Leamington police station.
