Blueflint set to light up Leamington Lamp

Edinburgh based five-piece Folk/Americana band Blueflint will be playing at Leamington Lamp in Adelaide Road tomorrow (Saturday) from 7.30pm.

Blueflint intertwine banjos, fiddles, double bass and drums to accompany the close harmonies of vocalists Deborah Arnott and Claire Neilson.

The band’s debut album High Morning Light, released in 2009, was highly acclaimed and this success was followed with their second LP Maudy Tree in 2011.

In 2012 they supported The Proclaimers for six weeks, playing at venues including Edinburgh’s Playhouse and the Shepherds Bush Empire in front of audiences of thousands.

They have recently played two sell-out shows at the Edingburgh Fringe and are currently on a UK Tour.
