Breathtaking images on display at Warwick gallery

“SUBLIME” images of ballerinas from the Bolshoi Ballet company are now on display at the Mitchell Gallery in Warwick.

Photographer Mark Peters is exhibiting a selection of limited edition prints depicting dancers from the world famous Russian company at the gallery in Church Street. Toni Storey, artist in residence and gallery manager at Mitchell, said; “These are dramatic, yet sublime and will simply take your breath away.”

Toni herself is currently working on a new ‘Midwinter’ series of oil paintings and visitors can see her at work this month.

Coming to the gallery this spring is Pathways, an exhibition of evocative landscapes by British artist Sue Lewis-Blake and German painter/photographer Ursula Blanke-Dau.

The title refers to the literal and metaphorical paths taken in life, with a show of thought-provoking images.

The gallery is inviting people to join them for drinks and to meet the artists on the exhibition’s preview evening on Thursday April 4.

Then in the summer, jazz, blues, reggae and rum cocktails will bring a vibrant atmosphere to the gallery. More details of what this will mean will be given nearer the time.
