Street Fusion - a free event being brought to the Kenilworth Centre in Abbey End by the not-for-profits organisation Brink - will include demonstrations by graffiti artists and rap and hip-hop musicians, as well as scratch DJs, poets, freestyle dancers and other performers.

Music will be provided by the Rivem‘n’Bash (NUE) rap trio from Tamworth and VOIS, an acoustic hip-hop group from Leamington - and there will be open mic sessions for budding MCs.

There will be a cinema screening of Banksy’s documentary Exit Through The Gift Shop and UV paint and laser art by Star Lab Industries, while visitors will be invited to take part in a YouTube crash course, where they can learn to shoot, edit and publish their own film.

Aspiring Djs will be able to learn basic skills in a one-to-one workshop and children will have the chance to take part in a graffiti colouring competition.

Brink members will be unveiling their new 3D graffiti project and the artists will also ask the public for their help in creating a larger 3D sculpture.

Part of the Kenilworth Festival, the event, which takes place on Saturday from 10am to 10pm, will be broadcast live on the volunteer-run Radio Abbey.
