Dark and poignant take on Brothers Grimm tale at Coventry theatre
After a successful launch in 2012, StrongBox Theatre is bringing its new production, The Twelve Dancing Princesses, to the Ellen Terry Theatre in Jordan Well on Tuesday and Wednesday at 7.30pm.
Inspired by Jeanette Winterson’s novel, Sexing the Cherry, the company present a dark yet poignantly playful interpretation of the story, which focuses on twelve sisters who have been torn apart and forced into marriage.
