Enter a new world of geometric art at Leamington gallery

BOLD geometric forms and colours take the viewer into an unsettling landscape in the latest exhibition at Gallery 150 in Leamington.

Coventry artist Patricia Chamberlain is displaying a series of abstract paintings, prints and geometric drawings at the town centre art space, as well as representational works in various media.

Inspired by politics and mainstream media imagery, Patricia makes use of grids and lines intending to take people out of their national boundaries.

The tension in her work aims to convey the anxiety of being trapped or gazing through the bars of a cage.

People can see Patricia’s work at the gallery, which is in the Regent Court shopping centre in Livery Street, until Sunday August 14. The gallery is open from Tuesday to Saturday 11am to 6pm and on Sundays from 11am to 4pm.

From Tuesday August 16 the space will hold a ‘Private collection showcase’.
