Escape to the seaside at Warwick gallery
Painting naive waterside scenes is particularly enjoyable for artist Anne Blundell, whose work is currently on display at the Mitchell Gallery in Warwick, as she grew up in a little Lancashire fishing village and later married a fisherman.
She said: “I like to feel as happy and carefree as I did wandering the marsh as a child.” Entry to the gallery is free. Shown here is Blundell’s painting, Happy Campers.
