Free lunch time music in Leamington

Music shop Presto Classical of Park Street is hosting performances every day this week until Saturday from 12.30pm onwards – and passers-by will also have a chance to have a look at the shop’s range of Yamaha digital pianos and keyboards.

Pianist and composer Simon Ballard will play classics of the piano repertoire as well as his own original compositions, including his best known piece, A Warwickshire Suite.

A celebrated concerto player, Ballard has recently completed recordings of the entire output of music by Dvorak for the BBC, and performed around Britain and abroad.

Representatives from both Presto Classical and Yamaha will be on hand to give demonstrations and discuss the technical details of the instruments on display.
