Fresh sounds and sunken treasures sweep into Leamington

CLASSIC rock guitarist Steve Hackett is bringing his Breaking Waves tour to Leamington’s Assembly next month.

The former Genesis musician, whose solo career has drawn on influences from blues, jazz, classical and ethnic music, will perform with Hackett’s Rock Band on a second string of dates, following the enthusiastic reception given to his first leg.

Steve’s current album, Beyond the Shrouded Horizon, is out now and he will hit the audience with what he describes as “a fresh set of tracks” from the new album, as well as to “continue to salvage sunken treasures from the past”.
