Cited as an influence by artists as diverse as Lady Gaga, Kanye West, Matthew Dear, Nine Inch Nails, Prince and Battles - with whom he co-released the single My Machines on Warp Records in 2011, he will be performing tracks from his forthcoming album Splinter, as well as classics - including Are Friends Electric?, I Die You Die and Cars.

In Splinter, Numan uses new sounds and ideas and his recordings have been described by those in the industry as “progressive” and “anthemic”.

The gig at the Assembly in Spencer Street comes almost five months ahead of the official album tour.
