Hardeep will feed up curry in Leamington again

THE curry-making Glaswegian Sikh comedian is returning to Leamington this autumn with his new show.

Writer, journalist, stand-up and talented cook Hardeep Singh Kohli will go head-to-head with the well-loved curry take-out chefs battling it out against some of his home-cooked Mum-inspired dishes during his Indian Takeaway show at the Spa Centre on Friday October 19.

At the beginning of the evening, Hardeep will order a takeaway live on stage for delivery to the theatre, having selected a local Indian takeaway from audience suggestions submitted online via hardeeplive.com

He will then order an audience member’s favourite meal. While waiting, Hardeep will cook his own food.

Two curries are in it for spectators. What’s not to like?

Runner-up in the first series of Celebrity Masterchef, Hardeep has also written his own book, Indian Takeaway, contributed culinary writings to Olive magazine, Observer Food Monthly, Spectator, Times and Sunday Times and has a column in Waitrose Food Illustrated.

Many people will know his face from his regular television slots on the BBC, Channel 5 and Channel 4, while he presents extensively across BBC Radio 4 and BBC Radio 5 Live.

Tickets to the show are now available. Call 0845 218 3540 or visit www.royalspacentreandtownhall.co.uk and to read more about Hardeep, visit www.hardeeplive.com
