Hear the Story of the Jaguar at Warwick’s Dream Factory

YOUNG actors in Warwick’s Playbox Theatre Company will take children into the exciting depths of the rainforest this weekend.

The youth theatre group is performing The Story of the Jaguar and the Old, Old World at its Dream Factory venue in Shelley Avenue tomorrow and on Sunday at 4pm.

Written by Playbox’s associate director Toby Quash in 2009, the play is aimed specifically at under-tens, taking them deep into the fascinating world of the rainforest people.

With music, movement and colourful design, the Playbox journey of discovery and wonder moves into a world on the brink of change.

The production, directed by Emily Jane Quash, was originally supported by the Prince’s Foundation for Children and the Arts.

Tickets cost £7.50 or £2 for seats in the two front rows on cushioned benches (advanced purchase only).

The Dream Factory is also this weekend welcoming the Circus Space in cabaret. The show, Silver Lining, features trapeze, hand-to-hand, juggling, cloud swing and Cyr wheel acts and the company is promising an evening of excellent physical theatre and circus entertainment.

The show takes place tomorrow (Saturday) at 8pm. Tickets cost £10 (£7.50 concessions, £6 Playbox members).
