Honouring the fallen at Coventry Cathedral
MUSIC to honour fallen soldiers and their loved ones will be performed by The Band of Her Majesty’s Royal Marines and the Exeter Festival Chorus this month.
The two groups will be joined by the Saint Michael’s Singers for a performance of Eternal Voices at Coventry Cathedral next Saturday from 7.30pm.
Eternal Voices is a five-movement work created by British composer and award-winner Adam Gorb, which is interspersed by integral views, and headlines. It pays tribute to servicemen and women including those struggling to recover from mental and physical injuries.
Andy Knowles will compere the event and proceeds go to the Royal Marines Charitable Trust Fund. Tickets cost £20, or £15 for students and £10 for wheelchair users. Call 024 7652 1210.
