It’s murder at Warwickshire College

Make-up artists at Warwickshire College have worked their magic on fellow students to make them appear like murder victims for an ambitious film project.

Members of the level 2 media studies group based at the Leamington campus are creating Calling, a dark thriller about a teacher who takes revenge on the students who ruined his career. As part of the filming this week, make-up students from the college’s Rugby campus used their skills to make cast members look like they had received horrific wounds caused by bullets or sharp objects.

Calling will be premiered at the Apollo Cinema in Portland Place, Leamington, on Thursday June 16 at noon.

The screening will last about two hours and will include a short ‘making of’ feature.

Admission is free and everyone is welcome.
