The singers will come to St Mary’s church on December 9 to give the monthly concert for Leamington Music - just two days before giving the same performance at the palace.

The 12 musicians make up one of Britain’s leading vocal groups - playing without a conductor and being highly commended for the way their singing is integrated.

For their Warwick concert, they will play traditional carols and festive pieces, before moving on to music from 16th and early 17th century composers Michael Praetorius and Orlando Lassus.

Richard Phillips, festival director, said:“I first heard this wonderful group when it won the Audience Prize in the 2005 York Early Music Festival competition and I have promoted them here every year since then.

“The church is the ideal venue for their concerts and this Christmas event should stand out among the many seasonal evenings on offer.”

Starts at 7.30pm with mulled wine and mince pies provided on the night.

Tickets from Leamington Town Hall, online at www.royalpacentreandtownhall.co.uk or via 334418.
