Leamington designer’s range is out

A FASHION designer who honed his skills with the help of Leamington creative arts organisation Hybrid Arts has launched his first range of handbags.

Nabeel Hussain, who has been artist in residence at Hybrid Arts in Spencer Yard for the past year, launched the product range, Ervhanski - a limited selection of real hide leather bags - on Boxing Day.

There are ten bags in the range, which Nabeel showcased at the Spencer Yard space, where he has been given a studio to work on his range.

Nabeel said: “The inspiration behind the Ervhanski brand comes from a combination of bespoke design and mixed media and the brand name was fused from a translation of Eastern language; ‘ervhan’ meaning ‘unknown’ and ‘ski’ meaning ‘known’.”

Nabeel is currently focussing on bags and coats but is hoping to develop a label that is known for heavy duty and practical pieces.
