Leamington Music’s Music in the Round programme will be played out across three new venues when it returns for a 12th season later this month.

Following the closure of the Bridge House Theatre the performances will now be held at Leamington’s Royal Pump Room and Royal Spa Centre and Warwick’s St Mary’s church.

Running on Sundays until mid-March, the season will open with the Benyounes String Quartet on January 18 at the Pump Room.

In February, two of the concerts will be played at Leamington’s Spa Centre as clarinettist Emma Johnson, and pianist John Lenehan perform a range of composers including Clarinet Sonatas by Brahms and Saint-Saens.

In March, the 11 members of Ensemble 360 will give a family concert performing Paul Rissmann’s latest work Crazy Creatures. Emma Johnson and Ensemble 360 will also visit schools across the district to host workshops.

The one concert in the season to remain in Warwick will be given by La Serenissima in February at St Mary’s church.

On the same day, Adrian will give a talk entitled, “Who is Monsieur Pisendel?”
