Pianist who is like having Beethoven in your house

Bulgarian concert pianist Andrean Lazarov will return to Eathorpe to play two intimate concerts at the village hall next Saturday and Sunday.

Andrean has played with the LSO, Chicago Symphony, Vienna Symphony Orchestra and countless others, along with conductors such as Sir Simon Rattle, Valery Gergiev and Sir Colin Davis.

He has also performed solo recitals in venues across Europe as well as in the USA, Canada, South Africa and Russia.

He loves coming to Eathorpe where he performs right in the middle of the Village Hall with the audience sat around him.

This year he will be playing Schumann, Debussy, Chopin, Beethoven, Liszt, Ravel and his favourite, Rachmaninoff.

Villager Karen Spicer said; “It’s just unbelievable that he comes to perform here.

“It’s like having Beethoven playing in your own sitting room.”
