The world-famous band that brought us tracks familiar with people of all ages - such as Sweets For My Sweet and Have You Ever Loved Somebody - are coming to Leamington.

The Searchers, who celebrated their 50th anniversary last year, will perform at Leamington town hall on Friday.

The band’s distinctive jangling sound of their 12-string guitar and rich harmonies remain in today’s line-up, which consists of founding member John McNally, on six-string guitar, 12-string guitar and vocals, Frank Allen - part of the band since 1964, on bass guitar and vocals, Spencer James, on guitar synthesiser and lead vocals and Scott Ottaway on drums.
