Playbox Theatre’s Shakespeare Young Company (SYC) will bring the comedy, As You Like It and dark tragedy, Macbeth to the Warwick stage in April.

Opening on Shakespeare’s 451st birthday, the shows will see the theatre transformed into an exciting new arena to house the new productions.

Playing alongside in repertoire for the spring series, tragedy Macbeth will bring supernatural themes, murders and nightmares onto the stage over two weeks.

Bringing the popular play to life, 18-year-old Jamie Watt and 16-year-old Martha Markham play the murderous couple.

SYC perform both plays in repertoire meaning there are opportunities to see both either on separate days or as a double on one of the two Saturdays in the season.
