Their summer theatre season will begin later than previous years as it prepares to open with Kilworth’s Memories of the Musicals on Tuesday August 3.

“We are determined to bring back the joy and excitement of live musical theatre to Kilworth this summer.

“We have worked with our creative team to produce a show exclusively devised for the stage at Kilworth with a strictly limited run during August,” said Kilworth House Theatre.

The theatre has been working with Andrew Wright and George Dyer to create a Covid-safe “exciting new show”.

Six stars of the West End will sing and dance their way through more than 50 songs from Kilworth’s fantastic back-catalogue supported by a live orchestra on stage.

The show will feature songs from musical theatre classics such as My Fair Lady, West Side Story, Oklahoma, The Sound of Music, Me and My Girl, Singin’ In The Rain, Guys & Dolls, Top Hat and South Pacific.
