The Young Performers Institute (YPI), which already has branches in Leamington, Kenilworth, Wellesbourne, Stratford and Gloucester, will run the new sessions at the GAP in Oakwood Grove on Wednesday evenings at 7pm from September 10.

YPI’s director of dance Rachel Davis said: “This is a very exciting time for the YPI. Because of the amazing feedback and support we have received over the last three years, we are now in a position to open three branches by the end of 2014, and are very excited that Warwick is going to be the first.”

Director of drama Pete Davis said: “It is our passion and aim to give everybody access to the arts and to drama and dance in particular. That is why we do not charge termly fees and keep costs as low to parents as we can.

“We feel that drama and dance can really help young people develop their self confidence, learn new skills and develop their interaction with others.”

YPI students have performed at venues including the Olympia Stadium in London and the Birmingham Hippodrome

Sessions, open to eight to 25-year-olds, cost £5 each, with no requirement to pay en bloc for a term. To find out more, call Pete on 07527 375319 or Rachel on 07968687771 or visit www.youngperformersinsti.wix.com/home
