People in Rugby are invited to get their funk on to help a mum who has Motor Neurone Disease.

A concert is being staged by the town’s popular White Men Can’t Funk to raise funds for Hannah Woolhead.

Hannah was diagnosed with ALS/Motor Neurone Disease at the age of 40.

Andy Walker, of White Men Can’t Funk, said they hope to raise the roof to help Hannah and her family.

Their gig takes place at Hillmorton Ex-Servicemen’s Club, High Street, on Saturday, December 7, 7.30pm.

"As a mother of five, sister to our singer Ash, a daughter, and a great friend to many, we have decided the best way we can help is to bring the party and rally the people of Rugby together to help such an amazing person.”

Entry is by donation.

“You bring your dancing shoes and spare change, and we will bring the dance floor fillers,” Andy added.
