Playbox Theatre will look back to creation and the story of the world with Adam and Eve, Noah and Doomsday in The Medieval Mystery Plays.

The unique project started in 2011 to re-explore the plays, telling the story of the world from Creation to Doomsday in a contemporary staging.

Mysteries played at The Dream Factory and Gloucester and Coventry Cathedral in 2011 to celebrate the 400th year of the King James Bible.

And the successful production is now revived with a new cast of 42 young performers at Stratford’s Swan Theatre.

The shows will start with Mysteries – Creation, Passion & Doomsday telling the story of the world from Adam and Eve, the great flood and the Passion.

In the midst of political turmoil a voice is heard for peace and unification.
