Playwrights challenged in Stratford theatre’s competition

BUDDING playwrights are being invited to take part in a competition launched by the Royal Shakespeare Company and its creative development partner A T Cross.

Entrants must complete a 500-word scene for award-winning writer Tanika Gupta MBE.

The competition, now in its second year, challenges entrants to decide on a setting, characters and plot but the scene must contain the line ‘finally, you will pay for what you did to me’.
