Unknowns in spotlight at Warwickshire festival
THE work of some lesser-known British composers will be celebrated tomorow (Sunday) at a Festival of British Music.
Butlers Marston Concert Society will present the event at Butlers Marston church at 7pm.
The event, in honour of the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee, will include York Bowen Sonata for Horn and Piano Op, 101 in E flat and the Ethel Smyth Concerto for Violin and Horn, will have Adrian Uren on horn, Alan Uren on violin, and Michael Wigram on cello.
