The large‑scale aerial production, created by sky‑theatre specialists Lumina Drones, will take place on 11 April 2026 and is set to transform the Alcester estate into a spectacular open‑air theatre of light, sound and storytelling.

Hundreds of LED-equipped drones will recreate some of the most iconic moments from the beloved story, from Peter, Wendy and Tinker Bell soaring above London to the climactic battle between Peter Pan and Captain Hook. The show is choreographed to cinematic sound, narration and lighting design, creating an immersive experience that blends cutting-edge technology with classic storytelling.

The event is being staged in partnership with Great Ormond Street Hospital (GOSH), which has held the rights to Peter Pan since J.M. Barrie gifted them to the children’s hospital in 1929. As part of the collaboration, £1+VAT from every ticket sold will be donated to support GOSH’s work with seriously ill children and their families.

Alongside the main performance, visitors can enjoy a family-friendly evening of entertainment, including fairground rides and a selection of food and refreshments.

Organisers say the aim is to create a full night out for families, combining community atmosphere with a world-first cultural moment.

Shah Kibria, Founder and Executive Producer at Lumina Drones, said the project marks a milestone for both the company and the evolution of drone-based storytelling. “Peter Pan has captured imaginations for over a century. To bring it to life in the skies, using the magic of drone technology, is both a creative milestone and a deeply meaningful project. We’re proud to support Great Ormond Street Hospital as part of this journey,” he said.

Tickets are now on sale from Eventbrite for what promises to be one of Warwickshire’s most unique and visually ambitious events of 2026.
