Another taste of Comme Ci Comme Ca

Such is the demand for their mouth-watering almond croissants and apricot custard tarts, that French pastry chef, Sébastian Vermant and his wife, Céline, are opening their second Leamington ‘Comme Ci, Comme Ça’ patisserie and café in less than 12 months.

The couple, from Lille in northern France, launched their first operation last May at 47 High Street, where its unique formula proved an instant success.

Céline said: “Our small team of French pâtissiers bake on a daily basis using only traditional French recipes and ingredients directly imported from Paris to create the authentic taste of France.”

Their new project at 39 Warwick Street seats 50 and also offers a garden for summer lunches al fresco. The interior, designed by Karen Robison, is an eclectic mix of antique and vintage furniture, featuring selected items from Karen’s range of home-ware.
