Britannia rule the water in boat race

Britannia Squab paddled their way to victory for the second consecutive year in the recent Warwick Dragon Boat Festival.

The removals and storage team based in Bishop’s Tachbrook also raised valuable funds for charity.

With a target of raising £3000 for Alzheimer’s Society, the Britannia ‘Squab Heroes’ team pulled out all the stops in an exciting and competitive finale.

Emlyn Evans, of Britannia Squab Group, said: “We are delighted to win the Dragon Boat title for the second time so a big well done to the team. It generates great team spirit and while being a lot of fun, helps to raise funds for good causes. The Alzheimer’s Society is our nominated charity and we are still receiving donations, which is great news. Thanks to everyone who has supported us.”
