Canapes and cocktails new on the menu

A PASSION for good food is the driving force behind a Kenilworth chef who has returned to the county to share top quality produce with fellow food lovers.

Paul Spence has returned to his home town to set up the quirky new ‘Canapés and Cocktails’ business in hope of relighting his passion for food and fresh produce.

And he is hoping to get food lovers from across the county on board as looks to use the business to inspire others to get creative in the kitchen.

The chef, who has worked in restaurants all over the work over the past 12 years, said he simply wants to bring his skills back to the town and deliver top quality service.

Paul has trained in a Michelin star restaurant and worked in a four star hotel in France and the tallest building in the southern hemisphere The Eureka tower. But said his real passion is to inspire through his cooking.

“I thought I could get more passion out of a job that has given me so much passion for twelve years and a love of fresh produce that I’ve had since I was born,” he said.

“It’s great to share my experience and passion even giving hints and tips and help others to become better cooks themselves.

“I am really excited about this and I hope other people will get on board and get excited too, it is all about bringing great food and inspiration to those who share my passion.”

Paul said despite travelling the world learning about cooking from top chefs, he is excited about returning to his hometown for the venture.
