Deliveroo is giving away credit for a year as part of the Love Your Local campaign

Deliveroo has this week launched its Love Your Local campaign to encourage customers to order from local restaurants this summer.

As part of this, the food delivery company is introducing ‘Love Your Local Tuesdays’, where from today, any customers who order from a selection of local favourites on a Tuesday are automatically in with a chance of winning free Deliveroo credit for a year.

There will be 80 lucky winners in total who receive free credit for a year, with ten customers each week being awarded the coveted prize over the eight weeks of summer. You win, your local wins.

How to enter? Simply download or log into the Deliveroo app on iOS or Android and order a meal from one of the local restaurants your app featured in the Love Your Local carousel.

You will be automatically entered into the competition and in with a chance of winning. A member of the Deliveroo team will contact you directly if you win.

It comes as another major boost for the food and drink industry after the devastating impact of lockdown.

Earlier this week the government announced bills at restaurants and pubs will be cut in half when customers eat out, as part of a new scheme.

The discount, named Eat Out to Help Out, aims to help boost the hospitality industry as lockdown restrictions are relaxed.
