LEP appoints director from Wright Hassall

The Coventry and Warwickshire Local Enterprise Partnership (CW LEP) has appointed a new private-sector director to its board.

Nick Abell is senior partner at Leamington law firm Wright Hassall and has been made a director of the CW LEP having previously worked with the organisation through its business groups.

The CW LEP is a private-public sector partnership designed to grow the economy of the area and help create new jobs.

Sir Peter Rigby, chair of the CW LEP, said: “We are delighted to welcome Nick to the board and believe his passion to develop business in Coventry and Warwickshire will only strengthen the LEP.

“Nick is well-known in Coventry and Warwickshire’s business community and as a result is extremely well-connected, which will serve to further develop our links with commerce in the area.”

Nick Abell joins the LEP board having led Leamington -based Wright Hassall through a period of sustained growth. He said: “I am looking forward to doing everything I can to help the LEP in growing the economy in Coventry and Warwickshire.
