New role for Maria in cosmetic nursing

Kenilworth-based Maria Phillips of Beautifil Clinic in old High Street has been appointed regional group leader for the British Association of Cosmetic Nurses (BACN) in the West Midlands.

BACN was established in 2009 following restructuring at the Royal College of Nursing which left cosmetic nurses without a specialist forum group.

It is a ‘not for profit’ association with an elected board and regional group leaders.

Maria said: “I am delighted to have been asked to take on the role. The regional groups are an important part of our peer support and education network and our work is supported by many high profile sponsors in the aesthetics industry. My role is to organise BACN regional Group Meetings that unite thegroup to educate, share expertise, support and importantly raise the standard and promote good practice.”
