Owners of Leamington pop-up shop meet the Prince

A FIRM that has recently brought a new ‘pop-up’ shop to Leamington had such a big stand at this year’s Ideal Home Show that it attracted the attention of Prince Charles.

HRH the Prince of Wales spent some time talking to Jonathan Aylmer, managing director, and Clive Coules, sales director, of Banbury-based Oceans, which now has a base in the House of Fraser shop in the Parade.

They discussed the firm’s range of outdoor living furniture and its plan for boosting employment and the high street economy by opening 25 ‘pop-up’ shops in empty units around the country. The company has created around 100 new jobs since January - mostly working in the new shops, with the remainder in roles of overseas and general business development.
