Senior-care provider wins new contract

Home Instead Senior Care, has been awarded the contract to provide care services for older people at two new independent living housing schemes in Leamington and Southam.

The schemes are being developed by Orbit Homes in partnership with Orbit Independent Living.

The properties, Queensway Court in Leamington and Tithe Lodge in Southam have 178 and 75 apartments, respectively.

This new contract follows Home Instead being awarded the contract to deliver care at Orbit Heart of England’s Briar Croft extra-care scheme in Stratford in December.

Queensway Court opens this spring and Tithe Lodge during the summer.

Orbit Independent Living is renowned for award-winning, pioneering design with regards to extra-care housing provision for the over-55s, giving customers access to a wide range of care services in their own homes, allowing them to live independently for as long as possible, while promoting health and wellbeing.

The extra care scheme is run and managed by Orbit Heart of England, with some care services overseen by Warwickshire County Council.
