Tia Khan is returning to work after taking a career break to raise her two children. Before that she worked as a case handler and assistant conveyancer for large, local firms of solicitors. Tia is joining as a conveyancer to consolidate the firm’s residential conveyancing department.

Solicitor Sam Pettit is one of two new employees in the private client department. Sam lives close to the Coventry office and enjoys advising local people on matters including wills, lasting power of attorney and inheritance tax planning. Sam felt that the firm reminded her a lot of the one where she completed her legal training, with the staff being very friendly and approachable.

Jyoti Jagatia has joined as a private client paralegal and has many years experience of working at the Land Registry, Coventry Council and other local firms of solicitors.

Jyoti said: “Seymours is a very well-established law firm and the staff thrive on providing excellent client service. I wanted to be a part of their team, as providing great client care is hugely important to me - especially when working in such a sensitive area of law. I was looking for a new challenge and to develop my skills even further - Seymours will give me this opportunity.”
