As part of the award process, an external moderator visited the school and spoke with staff, students, governors and parents, discussing how the school builds social issues, moral awareness, spiritual development and cultural opportunities within the curriculum.

Sian Rowland, SMSC moderator, said: "It is clear to see the school values permeate every area of the school."
