Southam St James school is King of the Road

Pupils at Southam St James Primary School are the best in the county when it comes to road safety.

Year Six children were presented at an assembly with the Area Road Safety Champions trophy by the county’s road safety team, following their success in the Warwickshire Road Safety Quiz. Hannah was also awarded a very special medal for being the only child in the whole county to score full marks on the quiz.

To top off the morning, and to the surprise of staff and pupils alike, the road safety team then produced a giant shield and announced that not only are the class area champions, they are also the top scoring school out of the 93 that entered and therefore county champions.
