They eat cakes for breakfast? Pupils embrace Spanish culture

MAGDALENAS were on the menu when Southam Primary School held a Spanish breakfast for its pupils last week.

Pupils tucked into the traditional breakfast cakes as part of the school’s involvement in the Comenius project, in which schools can build links with other countries in Europe.

Teacher Hannah McCubbin organised the activity. She said: “It’s a great opportunity for us to build links with the wider community from local businesses such as Tesco, which provided the food, and experience the culture of different countries.”
