Another large area near Leamington, Warwick and Kenilworth has now been classed as 'nearly Covid free' as rates continue to fall

Latest figures show that a large rural area near Leamington and Kenilworth has now recorded fewer than three positive Covid cases in the past seven days, up to February 17.
As we previously reported, Kenilworth South and Balsall Common have both been moved into the 'nearly Covid free' category, with fewer than three cases recorded.

Hide AdAnd now the area classed as Cubbington, Stoneleigh and Radford Semele has joined them. This was to be expected as the area has been recording low figures recently.
The area covers the following villages: Cubbington, Stoneleigh, Radford Semele, Ashow, Baginton, Bubbenhall, Wappenbury, Hunningham, Eathorpe and Offchurch.
Kenilworth continues to see falling rates - aside from Kenilworth South (see above), Kenilworth West saw just seven news cases over the same seven-day period (up to Feb 17) and Kenilworth East just eight.
In Warwick, the number of cases in the three town wards over the same seven-day period are also in single figures.

Hide AdMilverton, Lillington and the north and west areas of the Leamington also have recorded single figure cases.
The figures are slightly higher for the areas covering Leamington East and Sydenham (14), Brunswick (21) and Whitnash (14).
The overall rate for the the Warwick district is 89.7 cases per 100,000 people - which is still below the national average.
