This is a tough time for us all - and for local businesses, it is a fight for survival.

To combat this, many pubs, cafes and restaurants across the Warwick district have had to redesign their business model and are offering free deliveries and other services.

As a community, we can help them by supporting them. It is well worth checking your local shop to find out if they are dellivering or offering a valuable service to help those self isolating or unable to leave the house.

The Tame Hare, Leamington

The restaurant is Leamington is offering toilet rolls for those in need.

They said: "One of the joys of being a restaurant is we have to bulk buy. We have mass toilet rolls.

"We are keeping these toilet rolls for those in need.

"If you have elderly family in Leamington, Warwick or Kenilworth and they are on lock down, we will deliver 2 toilet rolls per household a week.

"Drop offs will be between 2-4pm week days.

"If you have family or know anyone who is in need of this.

"Even those quarantined then please DM us their name and address and phone number and we will get in touch with them.

"We all need to stick together and if this makes someone's week better then that will do.

"Any local businesses please extend this offer. We will deliver until we run out."

Flamenco in West Street and Tasca Dali in High Street, Warwick (same owner)

They are launching free meal deliveries from Monday, direct through the website or calling the restaurant as well as through Uber Eats. (Free delivery in Warwick and £5 outside of Warwick)

Additional 10 per cent off food for over 70s (except Fri/Sat) and 10 per cent off all orders and bookings for NHS staff (with ID).

The proprietor, Alex Clayton, also runs a cleaning business, so they are offering a weekly Flamenco or Tasca care packages for the elderly and vulnerable who are self-isolating.

Alex Clayton, proprietor at both restaurants, said: “We are trying to adapt in a complex environment and help those loyal customers who have supported us over the years.”

The board game cafe is now offering board game rentals.

They said: "We can now offer non contact delivery on our board games plus hot drinks and our delicious locally baked cakes directly to any door within three miles of Leamington town centre. Being in self isolation doesn't have to suck anymore!

"We will be sanitising each game when they come back in before being put back on our shelves.

The bakery is offering a local home delivery service to those customers who are unable to get out to buy food.

They said: "We are able to offer bread, eggs, honey, and single pints of milk. As well as a wide range of cakes and savoury items. All pre ordered the day before."

Dine with Lime, Leamington

Lime Recruit, based in Leamington, has now become Dine with Lime, offering food for collection or home delivery.

And they will be making a donation to Helping Hands from every meal they serve.

Managing director Chris Goodson said: "We will be cooking some delicious, tasty food for home delivery or collection, with a number of options that will be perfect for Weight Watchers or Slimming World subscribers - and some home comforts as well!

Collectors Assemble (comic book store), Leamington

They are offering free shipping on all website orders with a 10% discount, as well as free local delivery to any CV32/34 address, for any order over £10.
