Over 90 per cent of people over the age of 80 have now had at least one dose of a Covid-19 vaccine across Coventry and Warwickshire.

And overall, 142,252 in all ages groups have had the injection in the region.

The latest NHS figures are up to January 31 and have only been released for the regions, rather than individual towns such as Leamington, Warwick and Kenilworth.

They show that in the space of a week we have gone up from 84.8 per cent of the 80-plus population to 90.3 per cent having their first dose of the vaccination.
