Four men have been handed Covid fines tonight (Thursday) after they were caught meeting up near Acre Park in Whitnash.
The men were all spotted in a car by special constables, who were patrolling the area.
They have each received a fine of £200.
Whitnash is one of just two wards in the Warwick district to have seen a rise in positive Covid cases in the past seven days (latest data covers the seven days up to March 6).
There were 13 new cases in that time period, giving it a rate of 132.5 cases per 100,000 - way above the national average.
