Mr Wilson said: "I am looking for information on the history of Lockheed Rugby Club (latterly AP(Lockheed)) from their inception in 1943, when they were given the rugby posts from Leamington RFC, up to their demise due to losing the ground in 1989 when they joined Old Warwickians.

"So if anyone has old newspaper cuttings, photos or the AP house magazine Precision I would appreciate copies. I can be contacted on [email protected] or 07854422205.

"I started playing in 1960 and have lots of information up to 1989 but I am missing 1940's/1950's records but any information (or anecdotes) would be appreciated."

In regards to the photos attached to the article, Mr Wilson added: "The only person I know from this photo (of the team in 1943-44) is Paul Syvret (back row 4th from left) who I did play with very briefly in the early 60’s.

"In the photo (of the team in 1945-46) I recognise Jack Roberts (holding ball) then to his left Paul Syvret and Wally Sim who I worked with in research/experimental. The photo below was outside the groundsman store in the pavilion.

"Both of the above photographs were supplied by John Lyons Leamington RFC from his History of Leamington RFC."
