Here are some photos of VE Day celebrations in the Warwick district 75 years ago to this day (Friday).

The organisation Unlocking Warwick sent us a photo of a street scene in Lillington, which is courtesy of the Lillington Local History Collection and is avilable on www.ourwarwickshire.org.ukBoth Rachel James and Rodney Horn sent us the same photo of VE Day celebrations at Deerpark Drive, Warwick.

Rodney said: "I am about the ninth child on the right, kneeling up on a chair behind one of my sisters.

We also had a picture sent in by Joyce Perrott (nee Lane), taken at the Rec in Barford, 1945, during the VE Day celebrations.

The final photo in this article shows a street party in Lillington, sent to us by Robert Barnes, 84, who used to live in Melton Road, now lives in Wakefield.
