A short film about Leamington’s transformation from a small village to a thriving spa town has been produced.

The project was a collaboration with the Leamington History Group and local film-maker Mark Ellis, as well as Leamington Spa Museum and Art Gallery, students and staff from Myton School and Alan Gill – actor and director of the Teatro theatre school.

A spokesperson for the Leamington History Group said: "We are delighted to announce the launch of our new short film about Leamington’s transformation from a small village to a thriving spa town, life in 19th century Leamington, the development of the Pump Rooms and the demise of the original baths in Old Town."
