Rahim Amartey and Fatma Ummanel have collaborated on the show, which has themes of contemporary portraiture, identity and belonging.

The artworks explore the idea of the changing of the self, and the differences of the self such as race, background and social culture.

The exhibition will showcase a wide range of oil paintings, screen prints, sand paintings, etchings and watercolour paintings.

Rahim said: “The work intends to create a dynamic conversation around where contemporary portraiture is today. The focus of the exhibition is around on the fluidity of identity and self-awareness.”

Fatma added: “Our work not only questions identity as a singular concept but also explores differing approaches to portraiture.”

The exhibition runs from February 5 to 26.
