Daffodil Sunday: Spring celebration in village near Rugby features music, dancing and vintage cars
A spring celebration for all the family is taking place in a village near Rugby next month.
Daffodil Sunday is being held on Sunday, April 12, in the grounds of Newnham Paddox, Monks Kirby, from 11am-4pm.
There’s music from Dunchurch Silver Band, Ocho Rios Steel Band and The Sax Man and dancing from the Jill Bartlett School of Dance and Evolve Theatre Academy.
This year’s event features a new and improved vintage car and tractor show, alpacas and pet-a-ferret and woodturning displays.

Visitors can enjoy a range of stalls and plenty of refreshments.
Daffodil Sunday is hosted by the Friends of the Revel C of E Churches, and all the money raised goes to support the maintenance of the six church buildings in the Revel - St Edith's at Monks Kirby; St Denys's at Pailton; St. John’s at Brinklow; Holy Trinity at Churchover; All Saints' at Harborough Magna; and St Leonard's at Willey.
Newnham Paddox is the private country estate of the Earl & Countess of Denbigh, which they allow organisers to use for the day.
Admission is £8, free admission for under 16s. Entrance and stalls will accept cash and contactless payments.
Daffodil Sunday is supported by: Brownsover Hall Hotel; TG’s Dental Suite and Ashton Lodge Country House.
A spokesperson commented on their behalf: “We are all really proud to be supporting this year’s event – there will be plenty to do for all the family, so be sure to pay them a visit.”
