A heartbroken Brownsover family fear their beloved pet dog may have been stolen.

Rebecca Price is asking people to keep an eye out for Lola, her golden (lemon) Sprocker Spaniel who is spayed.

She said: “She’s been missing from near Scafell since Monday (September 2) so I’m asking people in Brownsover to please check door cameras or any cameras in case my fears are true and Lola’s been stolen.

“Can anyone reading this please check their gardens, sheds and garages in case Lola’s got in and can’t get out.”

"We just want her back,” she added.
