One of the oldest pubs in Warwickshire reopens after having a smart six-figure renovation
One of the oldest pubs in Warwickshire has reopened today (Friday October 16) a month after it closed in order for it to have a smart six-figure renovation.
The Grade II-listed Garrick in Stratford-upon-Avon town centre was temporarily closed from Monday September 14 while the works took place.
The Green King pub in High Street now has updated flooring, décor, artwork and lighting as well as comfortable new furniture throughout.
The toilets have also been fully renovated.

Craig Frayne, general manager at The Garrick said: “The Garrick has welcomed customers in for hundreds of years and we’re delighted to be open again to show off this wonderful Tudor building in all its glory.
"With its priest holes and so much history within these quirky walls, it’s such a special part of Stratford.
"It’s an amazing place to meet up with friends and families and soak up the atmosphere while enjoying a chat, food and drinks.
"Come in and enjoy its enviable heritage and hospitality.”
